RemarksIn China, the fruit of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd. et Wils. is called "Nanwuweizi". It is used similarly to the fruit of S. chinensis (Beiwuweizi). The Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of China defines Wuweizi as these two species.
