Common uses | This drug is used in urinary diseases, dropsy, uric acid diathesis leading to gout and rheumatism, uterine irritability, piles, colic, cardialgia, dyspepsia, enlargement of lymphatic and secreting glands as the breasts, testicles, mesenteric and scrofulous glands, also of the liver, spleen and salivary glands. In strangury or painful micturition, carbonate of potash with sugar is a very efficacious remedy. | |||||
