Common usesThis drug is bitter, cold, sweet on digestion, constipating, roborant, aphrodisiac and is used in the treatment of cough, emaciation, pyrexia and haemetemesis/hemetemesis. The herb is stated to be used in rheumatism, tuberculosis, nervous affections, haemoptysis/hemoptysis and catarrh.
