Infusion of leaves and coconut sugar is used to treat sore throat. Infusion of the leaves is used for cough, mouth ulcer and asthma; infusion of all plant parts is used to treat asthma and chronic bronchitis [201]. | |||
| Formulation | 1) Asthma and chronic bronchitis: 15-20 grams of fresh all plant parts are cut in pieces and steeped with 500 ml of hot water. Strain and drink the tea in one day time [201]. 2) Fever (in children): 10 grams of fresh roots are pounded, add 1 teaspoon of kerosene to make a fine paste.
