Clinical applicationAs an antifebrile, antidote, and anti-inflammatory, it is decocted and taken for cold and fever with an unknown cause. The raw leaves are roasted and pounded and applied externally for tumors, poison sumac, chilblains, and impetigo bullosa. Otorrhea is treated with raw leaf juice poured into the ear canal. Usually, it is used as a single folk remedy.
