| Remarks | The toad venom has been famous as the toad oil since ancient times. Chansu is specified as poison, but its constituent, bufalin, is the most effective in cardiotonic and local anesthetic. It is the raw material for cardiotonic and "Gokan", or five infantile malnutritions, such as "Rokushingan", "Kyūshin, "Kiōgan", etc. | ||||
