Remarks | Korean Danggui is the root of Angelica gigas Nakai (Jap. name: "Oninodake"). Angerikakon (Jap. name) is the root of A. archangelica L. The Japanese Pharmacopoeia defines Danggui as the root of A. acutiloba and A. acutiloba var. sugiyamae. Latin names of Dangui are difined as Angelicae Acutilobae Radix in the 18th JP, and Angelicae Sinensis Radix in the CP 2020 edi. respectively. | ||||||
