Common usesBark is astringent. It is used in ulcers, skin diseases, poisons, vaginal diseases, menorrhagia, leucorrhagia, haemorrhage/hemorrhage, burning sensation and thirst. Decoction of bark is given for wounds. It is given to cattle in rinder pest.
