Common uses | Lotus leaves are bitter, cooling and diuretic and are useful in burning sensation, hyperdipsia, fever, strangury, haemorrhoids/hemorrhoids and leprosy. Young leaves, petioles, and flowers are eaten as vegetables. The milky juice of leaf and flower stalks is used in diarrhoea/diarrhea. | |||
