Traditional usageIt is used in the treatment of aphthae, cholecystophaty, abscesses, stomach problems and as a lactagogue [201].
Formulation1) Aphthae:
 An infusion of a mixture of the leaves with turmeric, add some sugar [201].

2) Cholecystopathy:
 An infusion of the leaves and Curcuma xanthorrhiza rhizomes [201].

3) Low milk supply:
 Crushed leaves are rubbed on the breast as a poultice [201].

4) Abscesses:
 Crushed leaves mixed with lime, apply as poultice on the area [201].

5) Stomach disorders:
 Leaves mixed with coriander and fruits of Carum copticum and used as a poultice on the area [201].

6) Hematuria:
 3 grams of leaves of L. odorifera, 3 grams of aboveground parts of Orthosiphon stamineus, 2 grams of rhizomes of Curcuma xanthorrhiza, 2 grams of Phyllanthus niruri are boiled with 110 ml of water to make a decoction. Drink 100 ml of the decoction once a day for 14 days [231].
